I'm Sahaj, a CS & MATH major at Rutgers University-New Bruinswick.
Aside from coursework, I like to contribute to open source projects, take MOOCs, compete in online coding challenges and attend hackathons. While I have not taken an internship or Co-op, currently I am taking part in App development for infectious microbial genomics using Webassembly, through GSoC(Google Suumer of Code).
Additionally, I have taken roles as a System Software Engineer, a Learning Assistant (for CS-111), Grader (for Multivariable Calculus) at Rutgers University and, currently, as a Research Assistant at Columbia University.
A machine learning & web-design entusiast, highly curious about what lies at the intersection of the two, in other words Human-Computer Interection with Data Science. I believe that design is not just about how things look, it's about how they work within constraints and connect with the environment. Also, I have a keen interest in designing novel interfaces and working with technologies that use the web as a platform.
